The Driftless Café at Night is homage to “Cafe terrace at night” by Vincent Van Gogh, a favorite of Dan Howard. The Driftless Café is one is a destination restaurant in Viroqua, WI, operated by Luke Zahm, an amazingly skilled chef who has a deep passion for farm-to-table food. The restaurant is housed in an old building, a block away from the historic Fortney Hotel, which has featured in other paintings by the artist.
